South Gloucestershire Bus and Coach Ltd will operate 040 and 460 from 4th January 2010. NX 318 is thought to have gone to Applegates Coaches of Newport, Berkeley, Gloucestershire. This ends nearly thirty years of NX operations started when Wessex National Ltd was formed in the bus industry deregulation of the early Eighties taking the identity of the pre-nationalisation Wessex Coaches, based in Bristol, which itself was formed by the amalgamation of other companies in 1947 and began trading under the Wessex name in 1948
