New city buses to launch in April
05 Feb 2025
Three new bus services are due to start running after Bristol City Council set aside £4.7 million raised through CAZ (Clean Air Zone) charges.
Serving communities in north, east, and south Bristol, the new services — operated by First West of England — will launch on Sunday 6th April.

Bristol to get three new bus services
One of the services will run through the East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood trial, a scheme met with some concerns by residents.
Cllr Ed Plowden, of Bristol City Council, said the service would offer residents ‘a fantastic new resource and, hopefully, reduce pressure in the area’.
