Four more strike days to hit routes
22 Jan 2026
Around 350 drivers in Greater London will walk out for four days next month, in an ongoing row over allegations of ‘bullying and union busting’ at a bus depot.
Unite the Union has alleged that there was a change in management at Lea Interchange bus garage in Leyton, and that its members had been unfairly suspended and subjected to ‘aggressive behaviour’.

Trade union members at the depot, which is part of Stagecoach London, are set to strike on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th, Friday 20th, and Saturday 21st February.
Stagecoach London has said it ‘refutes Unite’s allegations of union victimisation or bullying’ and acknowledged ‘the important role of our recognised trade union’.
