Basing House
Basingstoke
Situated in the village of Old Basing, Basing House was once a Tudor palace and castle. Largely destroyed after a two-year siege by troops of Oliver Cromwell (1599 – 1658), the site now includes a secret tunnel, a restored 17th-century garden, and a spectacular barn.
