Christchurch Priory
Christchurch
Christchurch Priory dates from 1094 and is the longest parish church in England. Its most famous relic is the Miraculous Beam. The mysterious lengthening of this piece of wood resulted in the original name of the town changing from Twynham to Christchurch.
