King John’s House, Garden, and Heritage Centre
Romsey
King John’s House is a medieval upper hall built around 1240. It retains its original roof, and has graffiti from 1306, when King Edward I (1239 – 1307) visited. There is also an unusual knucklebone floor. The small garden is a lovely place to relax in when the weather is fine.
