Southampton Maritime Museum
Southampton
Situated at Lansdowne Hill in a 14th-century warehouse is this museum, which depicts the history of the city as a port. There are displays of model ships, including the 7-m-long (22-ft-long) builder’s model of the Queen Mary, as well as an exhibition on the ill-fated maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic in April 1912.
