The Tank Museum
Wareham
At Bovington Camp is The Tank Museum. Founded in 1923, it contains one of the largest collections of historic armoured fighting vehicles in the world. Exhibits span the history of tank warfare from the first tank of World War I to modern fighting machines. There are also working models, simulators, two video theatres, and displays of engines, guns, medals, uniforms, and equipment.
