Savernake Forest You can take a pleasant walk through Savernake Forest, which is around 26 km(16 mi) in circumference, at any time of year.
St Peter’s Church In the High Street is the (largely redundant) 15th-century St Peter’s Church. Cardinal Thomas Wolsey (c. 1475 – 1530) was ordained here in 1498. It now houses a number of attractions, including arts and crafts, a coffee shop, and a Christian bookshop.
