Bus company praises driver

A Wiltshire bus firm has praised one of its drivers for helping a woman and her three children flee from an abusive man in the area.

Kyle Caswell, from Swindon, said he was at the end of his route when the woman and her children stopped him.

The 18-year-old said the woman told him she had been trying to avoid an abusive ex-partner who was nearby and looking for her.

Mr Caswell obtained permission from his supervisor at Swindon’s Bus Company to take them to a safer location across town.
