Road closure to affect services

Torbay Council has warned passengers in Torquay, Devon, of significant changes to bus services along the harbourside due to improvement works.

The authority said no traffic would be able to pass through The Strand — from the Fleet Street car park exit junction to the clock tower — from Tuesday 15th October to Friday 29th November.

The road closure is to allow for the completion of final works, in four different areas, for a scheme funded by Town Deal money.

Torbay Council said because of the disruption to bus services caused by the closure, passengers should check timetables before they travel.
