Scenic bus route to return in May

A popular bus route, which ran between Somerset and Devon, is to return later this spring after its operator secured funding from two councils.

The Exmoor Explorer, formerly known as the Exmoor Coaster, will run from Sunday 25th May until Sunday 31st August.

The bus takes passengers from Watchet to Ilfracombe along a route that takes in views of Exmoor National Park and the villages of Porlock and Lynmouth.

First South West said the service is returning after funding from Devon County Council and Somerset Council’s Bus Service Improvement Plans.
