D-Day Museum
Southsea
Alongside Clarence Esplanade is the D-Day Museum. This houses the Overlord Embroidery, which depicts the Allied invasion of Normandy on 6th June 1944, and consists of 34 panels with an overall length of 83 m (272 ft). The museum also features AV displays that help bring D-day to life.
