Dockyard Apprentice

At the Historic Dockyard in Portsea you will find Dockyard Apprentice. This exhibition tells the story of dockyard life in 1911, when the great dreadnought battleships were undergoing construction. It invites the visitor to become an apprentice for the day. You can clock in at the Victory Gate, learn all about the crafts and skills of shipbuilding, and experience the ambience of the old dockyard.
