Richmond Park

London

5 / 5 ▪ Excellent

This is the largest of London’s Royal Parks, covering some 955 ha (2,360 ac). Its woods, hills, and grasslands are bursting with life, from herds of deer to birds, invertebrates, fungi, and wildflowers. Around the park there is the Tamsin Trail, a scenic route of just over 11 km (7 mi), which is popular with hikers and joggers. If you just want to take it easy, there are seats to sit and relax on; refreshments are also available.
