Collision injures pedestrian

A collision between a bus and a pedestrian in Southampton, Hampshire, has left a man in hospital with serious injuries.

The incident on Castle Way, in the Lansdowne Hill area of the city, took place near Bargate Street at about midday on Tuesday 25th August.

The 78-year-old pedestrian was hospitalised at Southampton General Hospital with possibly life-changing injuries.

Police officers investigating the collision are keen to speak with anyone who might be able to assist their inquiries.
