Arriva London drivers to strike

Arriva London bus drivers in the south of the capital are set to go on strike over a pay dispute next month.

The Unite union said 1,000 drivers based in Brixton, Croydon, Norwood, and Thornton Heath would walk out for 24 hours on Wednesday 11th May.

The drivers, who operate routes across south and central London, will also strike for 48 hours from Monday 16th May.

Arriva London has previously said it was ‘incredibly disappointed’ with the ‘completely unnecessary’ industrial action.
