Woman died under shunted bus

A bus shunted a parked bus into a woman at London Victoria Station, killing her, a court has heard.

The collision propelled 32-year-old Melissa Burr, who was from Rainham, Kent, into the air and under a parked bus.

Ms Burr died after sustaining multiple injuries in the crash, which occurred on Terminus Place on the morning of Tuesday 10th August 2021.

Olusofa Popoola, the 60-year-old driver of the bus, denies causing Ms Burr’s death through dangerous driving.
