Call to rethink new bus link
21 Aug 2023
A councillor has urged a bus operator in Gloucestershire to rethink a new bus link, which will leave rail users stranded for almost an hour.
Those wanting to reach Cam and Dursley train station will now be able to catch the 65/65X (Stroud – Gloucester) services, run by Stagecoach West.

Cllr John Bloxsom, however, said the 08 10 (8.10 a.m.) bus arrives two minutes after the 08 53 (8.53 a.m.) train to Bristol departs, which would leave commuters stranded.
Stagecoach West, which has recently reviewed its bus services, said the 65/65X will improve daily commutes for many people.
