New AI screen warns of knife crime

A new digital screen at a bus shelter in Bournemouth, Dorset, aims to raise awareness of the dangers of knife crime.

AI (artificial intelligence) powers the screen, which is on the A3060 (Castle Lane West), close to Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Whenever an ambulance passes by the screen, its siren will prompt heartfelt text messages to appear on the display.

The screen shows genuine conversations that highlight the consequences of knife crime and reflect the panicked concerns of parents.
