Torquay to get night bus service

Night buses, operating into the early hours of every Saturday, will soon be running in Torquay, Devon.

The new service, funded by the Office of Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), will run from 2nd November until 21st December, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

Stagecoach South West will provide the night buses, and single journeys will cost £2, the force added.

Ch. Supt Roy Linden said: ‘Torquay remains a safe place to live, work, and enjoy a night out, but our hope is that these night buses will make it even safer.’
