Cyclist dies after crash with bus

A cyclist has died in Tower Hamlets, Greater London, following a collision with a bus, the Metropolitan Police have said.

The incident, which occurred at about 00 30 (12.30 a.m.), saw emergency services called to Westferry Road, near Arnhem Place in the Isle of Dogs, to reports of a road traffic collision.

The unnamed male cyclist, who was in his forties, died at the scene; Met officers are trying to locate his next of kin.

The bus driver stopped at the scene; police have not made any arrests but have asked for anyone with information to contact them.
