YouTube launches ad campaign
17 May 2021
YouTube is placing ads — encouraging young people in the UK to get their COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) ‘vaccinations’ — on the sides of buses.
The video-sharing website, which is funding the multimillion-pound advertising campaign, said its partnership with the NHS (National Health Service) would see further ads appear at bus stops, on hoardings, and on YouTube itself.

The campaign will feature the slogan ‘Let’s Not Go Back’
The site has faced criticism from some quarters for being slow to stop the spread of coronavirus disinformation.
YouTube, however, said it had already removed 900,000 COVID-19 videos that had broken its rules.
