Pedestrian struck by bus dies

A pedestrian, airlifted to hospital after a single-decker bus struck him in Poole, Dorset, has died.

The bus hit the man, who was in his forties, on Turlin Road, Hamworthy, at about 14 30 (2.30 p.m.) on Friday 10th June.

Dorset Police said the air ambulance took the unnamed man, who had serious injuries, to Southampton General Hospital, but he died the next day.

The force has appealed for any witnesses, or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident, to come forward.
