Bus drivers join rival operator

A bus operator in Dorset has hired more than 100 drivers from a rival firm, which folded on Thursday 4th August.

Bournemouth Transport Ltd, which served Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole under the name Yellow Buses, went into administration last week.

More, part of Go-Ahead’s Go South Coast division, said it had hired the new staff at a recruitment fair held yesterday.

The operator, which used to trade under the name Wilts & Dorset, has taken over Yellow Buses’ routes, and will accept their tickets until Sunday 14th August.
