Driver jailed over death

A court has jailed a bus driver for two-and-a-half years after he killed a teenage boy in Greater London while trying to run a red light.

Paul Manu ran over 16-year-old Mario Radulescu on Mandeville Road, Northolt, on Friday 17th December 2021.

Mario, originally from Romania, was a student at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College in Harrow on the Hill.

Last month at the Old Bailey, the chief criminal court of England and Wales, 63-year-old Manu admitted causing Mario’s death through dangerous driving.
