Arrest over bus stop attack

Police have arrested a man following an incident at a bus stop in Bracknell, Berkshire, in which a man was the victim of a machete attack.

The assault took place outside Radius Court, London Road, at about 13 20 (1.20 p.m.) on Wednesday 9th August.

The victim, who is in his 30s, needed hospital treatment for his injuries; doctors have since discharged him.

Thames Valley Police said it is holding a 19-year-old man on suspicion of GBH (grievous bodily harm) with intent and attempted murder.
