Park-and-ride could return

A Berkshire council could reinstate a park-and-ride bus service after it received grant money from the government.

Wokingham Borough Council is considering whether to bring back the Winnersh Triangle service to Reading.

The park-and-ride could restart, on a trial basis, from November, but its long-term future will depend on whether it is a success.

The Winnersh Triangle route 500 service, which began in 2015, ran every 15 minutes between Wokingham and Reading town centre.
