Bus and tractor crash injures 12

A dozen people are in hospital after sustaining injuries in a crash involving a bus and a tractor in Kent.

The air ambulance, along with paramedics, police, and firefighters, attended the incident on the A227, near Meopham, at about 15 25 (3.25 p.m.).

Kent Police said the collision had injured several passengers on the bus, including at least five children.

South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) said paramedics had treated 12 patients and taken them to nearby hospitals, while the air ambulance had taken one person to hospital in London.
