Boy stabbed to death on bus

Detectives hunting the killer of a 14-year-old boy, stabbed to death on a bus in Greater London, say they are working ‘at pace’ to find those responsible.
The teenager — pronounced dead shortly after yesterday’s attack in Woolwich — was travelling on a route 472 double-decker at about 14 30 (2.30 p.m.).

The crime scene on Woolwich Church Street remains cordoned off and some road closures are still in place as investigations continue.
Ch. Supt Louise Sargent, of the Metropolitan Police, described the crime as ‘horrendous’ and said her thoughts were with those close to the victim.
