Two new bus routes for students
01 Sep 2025
Two new bus routes in Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, will help students travelling to school or college in the new 2025/26 academic year, the city council says.
The 94B school bus service links Whitehawk, Manor Hill, and Elm Grove with Varndean School and Dorothy Stringer School.

Two new bus routes for students aim to ease school traffic
The 3X, which is set to launch on Sunday 28th September, will run between Hangleton and Falmer, and connect King’s School, Hove Park School, Cardinal Newman School, BHASVIC (Brighton, Hove, and Sussex Sixth Form College), and Brighton Aldridge Community Academy.
Cllr Trevor Muten, Cabinet Member for Transport, Parking, and Public Realm at Brighton & Hove City Council, said limiting school-run car trips reduces congestion and improves air quality.
