Boy stabbed to death on bus

A teenage boy has died in a stabbing on a bus in the South Norwood area of Croydon, Greater London.

Police found the victim with multiple stab wounds following the incident, which took place at about 20 30 (8.30 p.m.) yesterday evening.

Although paramedics treated the teenager, he died at the scene — Whitehorse Lane — 40 minutes later.

A Section 60 order, giving police additional stop and search powers, is in place across several areas until 13 10 (1.10 p.m.).
