Two bus services cancelled

Two bus services in the North Somerset region will cease running while a third route will get a temporary extension.

North Somerset Council previously warned that the X2, X5, and 126 services were no longer commercially viable.

The authority has since reached an agreement to continue a reduced X5 bus service until April 2023.

Cllr Steve Bridger, leader of North Somerset Council, said it was ‘deeply concerning’ no solution was forthcoming for the X2 and 126 routes.
