Pensioner hit by bus injured

A man in his seventies has suffered what police say were life-threatening injuries after a bus struck him in Folkestone, Kent.

The incident occurred at the bus station in Middelburg Square at 10 05 (10.05 a.m.) yesterday morning.

Police and paramedics attended the scene and a helicopter took the pensioner to a hospital in the capital.

Officers are appealing not just for witnesses to come forward but any drivers who may have dash cam footage of the incident.
