Man charged over assault

The Metropolitan Police have charged a man with attempted murder after an assault on a bus passenger in Westminster, Greater London.

The incident took place on the route 94 bus in Oxford Street at about 22 15 (10.15 p.m.) on Tuesday 28th February.

The 25-year-old victim suffered a serious head injury as a result of blunt-force trauma, the Met said.

Twenty-year-old Oscar Castano-Colque appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court, Croydon, yesterday.
