Man dies in bus stop crash

A car hit and killed a man at a bus stop in Edmonton, Greater London, the Metropolitan Police said.

The incident saw two other people taken to hospital after the crash, which occurred on Angel Road just before 15 00 (3 p.m.) yesterday afternoon.

The Met added that the man, believed to be in his 60s, had died at the scene and that his family had been informed.

Reports suggest the injuries sustained by the two other people at the bus stop were not life-threatening.
