Two ‘lifeline’ services saved
24 Jul 2023
A grant of £250,000 has saved two ‘lifeline’ bus services in Gloucestershire that were set to face the axe.
The 84/85 and the 622 services were due to cease running in the next few weeks but now have a stay of execution until 2024.

A route 84 single-decker in the bus station at Yate
Students in Severn Beach and surrounding villages rely on the route 622 bus to get to school in Thornbury.
The 84/85, which runs between Yate and Wotton-under-Edge, provides the only public transport link from villages such as Cromhall.
