Free bus travel offer in Kent

Families with children on free school meals will be eligible for free bus travel across Kent during the summer holidays.

The Bus about Kent scheme is set to begin on Sunday 23rd July and will continue until Thursday 31st August.

Families of up to four can take advantage of the offer, which the government’s National Bus Strategy is funding.

David Brazier, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at Kent County Council, said: ‘We’re pleased to be able to promote this offer to some of the county’s most hard-pressed families.’
