‘Crucial’ bus service to end
10 Aug 2023
A bus service in Bristol, described as a ‘lifeline’ for passengers, is to cease operating from Sunday 3rd September.
The number 52 bus departs from Broadmead in the city centre and heads southwards to its final destination in Hartcliffe.

The service is one of many in the region partly funded by local councils, who are withdrawing subsidies for several routes.
Local councillors and residents said the 52, which also serves Bedminster and Highridge, was ‘absolutely crucial’.
