Bus hits and injures girl

A teenage girl is in hospital after sustaining serious injuries when a bus hit her in Reading, Berkshire.

The teen was on the A329 King’s Road, near Reading College, yesterday afternoon when the collision occurred.

Thames Valley Police said although the girl’s injuries were severe, they do not believe them to be life-threatening.

The force added that an investigation into the incident, which forced the closure of the road in both directions for several hours, was ongoing.
