Operator launches new buses

An operator has unveiled its first group of fully electric double-decker buses at a university in Oxfordshire.

Oxford Bus Company showed off 21 of their Oxford Brookes University-branded vehicles, which will serve students and staff.

The launch of the new BROOKESbuses is part of an initiative to make the area more environmentally friendly.

The double-deckers are part of a fleet of 159, which Oxford Bus Company will introduce across the city to replace its current diesel vehicles.
