Police investigate bus fire

Police are investigating a suspected arson following a fire on a double-decker bus in Bristol yesterday afternoon.

Avon and Somerset Police said the number 2 bus was travelling through Stockwood just after 16 00 (4 p.m.) when the driver realised the vehicle was on fire.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene, along with police officers, but no one was injured or required hospital treatment.

Any bus passengers who saw anything suspicions on the Cribbs Causeway – Stockwood service should contact the police.
