Extra buses and 24-hour routes

Two local operators are set to roll out more bus services — including two new 24-hour routes — in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

The route 23 (Leigh Park – Southsea) service, operated by Stagecoach South, alongside the route 2 (Paulsgrove – Portsea) service, operated by First Solent, will run around the clock.

In addition to the two 24-hour services, several other routes across the city will run more frequently, both during the week and at weekends.

Funding for the changes, which take place on Sunday 18th February, comes from a £48 million grant from the DfT (Department for Transport).
