Axed bus service set to return

A cancelled bus service, which left residents ‘isolated and forgotten’, will return to Bristol a year on from its axing.

On Monday 8th April, Transpora Group will bring back the route 23 bus to Ashton Vale, with connections to Bedminster and the city centre.

In April 2023 FirstBus cancelled the service ‘due to a combination of very low patronage and rising costs’.

Head of commercial at Transpora Group, Simon Newport, said they wanted to help the community be better connected.
