Free bus trips in run-up to Xmas

In the run-up to Christmas, operators are offering free bus journeys in a Berkshire town to encourage people to use public transport.

Passengers in Wokingham will be able to travel for free every Saturday from 16th November to 21st December.

Reading Buses, Thames Valley Buses, and Carousel Buses will all honour the government-funded scheme.

The aim of the project is to reduce the number of cars travelling on the roads during the busy festive period.
