New bus fleet at Brighton & Hove

A new fleet of 24 upgraded British-built buses is set to hit the roads of East Sussex, at a cost of more than £7 million.

Brighton & Hove will be launching its ‘Regency’ buses, with one of the new vehicles heading out on a public roadshow across Lewes, Hailsham, and Eastbourne tomorrow.

The buses will run on the Regency Routes 28, 29, and 29A services, which connect Brighton, Lewes, Hailsham, Eastbourne, Uckfield, Heathfield, Crowborough, and the Kent spa town of Tunbridge Wells.

Nick Hill, commercial director at Brighton & Hove, said: ‘They represent our continued commitment to making local travel more comfortable, accessible, and inclusive for everyone.’
