Slough Borough Council has approved funding of more than £900,000 to improve the town’s bus services.
The capital spending is part of a £2.2 million investment; £1.3 million of this has come from the DfT (Department for Transport).

The council said the full investment would fund better access to the town centre and provide a bus interchange service to Wexham Park Hospital and Heathrow Airport.
A report to the authority’s cabinet recommended that councillors approve the expenditure, saying it would lead to ‘a borough for children and young people to thrive’ and ‘a town where residents can live happier, safer, and more independent lives’.
