On Eastern Parade is the Cumberland House Natural History Museum. It features the geology and natural history of the Portsmouth area, along with freshwater and marine aquaria, and displays of local woodland, chalk, and downland. There is also a butterfly house, where you can find out about the many species that live in the UK.
