The 142-ha (350-ac) Lodmoor Country Park on the seafront road has a host of attractions for all the family. There is an RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) reserve, a steam and diesel miniature railway, go-carts, and a picnic/barbecue area.

NB: None of the attractions within the country park were open at the time of our visit; it was also raining when we got there, which is not good for an outdoor attraction. Both these points have had a bearing on the rating we have given here.
