Campaigners get new route

Despite recent cuts, public transport campaigners have managed to secure a new bus route, which will run between Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

DRM [David Robert Morris] Bus is the chosen operator for the contract and will run the new 232 Daffodil Line service.

The route will connect Newent with the Herefordshire towns of Ledbury and Ross-on-Wye, and will operate every day, with an evening service on Fridays and Saturdays.

The link, which starts on Sunday 2nd April, will travel through Dymock, Newent, and Gorsley (all in Gloucestershire), and Much Marcle and Upton Bishop (both in Herefordshire).
